About the Role
UNIQLO, a leading brand of the Fast Retailing Group and one of the largest apparel retailers globally, is recruiting a Merchandising Admin Assistant to join the EU Merchandising Planning department within the womenswear team. Reporting to the Merchandising Planner, you will work closely with merchandising and allocation teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of the UNIQLO range across the EU. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in growing their career within fashion merchandising, particularly those with experience in merchandising functions.

Your responsibilities will include supporting Merchandisers by collecting key merchandising information, performing data entry, preparing reports, and conducting analysis. You will update reports on a weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basis, analyse day-to-day sales and stock levels, liaise with the inventory control team regarding stock queries and adjustments, highlight risks and opportunities, action re-pricing and markdown changes, assist with sizing and colour confirmations, and liaise with stores and head office in Tokyo. Additionally, you will carry out continuous competitor analysis, propose improvements to stock levels based on sales and stock reporting, and support any other ad-hoc administration required within the merchandising function.

Experience
1-2 years of merchandising experience
Experience within an administrative role
Retail or fashion experience is preferred

About you
Educated to degree level, preferably in merchandising or an analytical subject
Advanced skills in Excel are essential
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
IT proficient with acute attention to detail
Eager to learn and willing to take on additional responsibilities
Self-driven and organised to deliver results within deadlines
Ability to use own initiative to resolve issues

Qualifications
Degree level education preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience and skills are highly valued
