About the Role
Lunchtimes are more than just a break. They're a chance for students to connect with friends, recharge and enjoy being part of a welcoming community. As a Midday Supervisor at Lift Noel Park Primary, you will create a calm, safe and positive environment where every child can thrive. You will guide students during lunchtime, help them follow school routines, and ensure everyone feels included.

Your key responsibilities will include supervising students in dining areas, playgrounds and around the school during lunchtimes to ensure safety and adherence to school expectations; supporting positive behaviour by encouraging respect, kindness and good choices; identifying any concerns such as safety issues, friendship problems or children needing extra support and taking appropriate action or reporting to the right person; organising and supervising lunchtime activities or clubs; maintaining clean and tidy dining spaces by clearing tables and managing spills; and working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to share any incidents or concerns.

Lift Noel Park Primary is based in North London and serves 600 children aged 3 to 11. Experience
Experience supervising children or young people is required, whether as a parent, carer or in another setting. Experience working in a school or running group activities is useful but not essential.

You stay calm under pressure and handle busy or unexpected moments with confidence. You communicate clearly and warmly with students of all ages and work well as part of a team, building trusted relationships with colleagues. You are organised, reliable and able to juggle different tasks at once. Patience, empathy and a genuine interest in helping young people feel happy and secure are essential qualities.
