About the Role
The MIS Assistant reports directly to Kingston Adult Education’s MIS & Compliance Manager and is responsible for managing the adult education management information systems. Key duties include collating, analysing, and completing data uploads from the Management Information System (MIS) to relevant funding agencies. The role involves monitoring and maintaining high standards of data management, ensuring compliance with procedures set by funding agencies, awarding bodies, and Ofsted. You will support the MIS & Compliance Manager in planning and implementing effective enrolment systems for learners. Staying up to date with funding rules and regulations, including eligibility, data entry, deadlines, and validation reports, is essential. Kingston Adult Education is rated by Ofsted as a ‘good’ provider for over 3,500 learners and is committed to delivering high quality learning and training opportunities to meet the needs of individuals and employers in Kingston and surrounding areas.
Experience
Experience working with management information systems is required. Familiarity with data management and compliance in an educational or similar environment is advantageous.

Qualifications
Working towards or holding a Level 3 IT qualification is required. Other relevant qualifications or training in data management or compliance are beneficial but not essential.
