About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our facilities team on a major government contract. This mobile role involves working across multiple commercial sites in South West London, delivering planned and reactive maintenance to ensure safe, compliant, and fully operational HVAC systems. Ideal for someone with strong air conditioning and mechanical maintenance experience who enjoys variety, independence, and problem-solving. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), reactive repairs, and system upgrades across a wide range of air conditioning systems and associated plant. This role requires a multiskilled engineer comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive facilities management team. Key responsibilities include fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing systems such as Splits, VRFs, AHUs, DX systems, and some central plant, as well as producing quotations for remedial works and system replacements. Accurate completion of electronic F-Gas paperwork and maintaining job system updates are essential parts of the role. This position offers stability, autonomy, and the opportunity to work across a diverse range of commercial environments.

Experience
- Proven experience as a mobile air conditioning or HVAC engineer in commercial environments
- Experience with VRV/VRF systems and basic electrical fault finding
- Strong understanding of mechanical building services and general HVAC plant

Qualifications
- F-Gas Certification (C&G 2079 – Category 1) – essential
- NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (minimum requirement), Level 3 preferred
- 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification highly desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
