About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join the team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The service receives referrals primarily from Hospital Consultants in Trauma & Orthopaedics (T&O), Rheumatology, and Pain, with the majority coming from T&O. The role requires expertise in treating patients post fracture and post-operative cases including ACL reconstruction, joint arthroplasty, foot and ankle, and upper limb surgery. You will manage both the acute phase and rehabilitation in the outpatient setting, applying clinical reasoning to deliver appropriate assessment and treatment techniques. This is a locum position offering a flexible and impactful physiotherapy role within the NHS.

Experience
Proven experience in outpatient MSK physiotherapy. At least 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years. Ability to manage large caseloads autonomously.

Excellent communication skills with patients, relatives, staff, and external contacts, including in challenging situations, demonstrating respect and kindness. Awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences and beliefs. Able to work independently and apply clinical reasoning effectively.

Qualifications
Physiotherapy degree (BSc) or diploma. HCPC Registration. Ability to pass an enhanced background check.
