About the Role
Join Wates Property Services (WPS) as a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) supporting Facilities Management services across the prestigious JLL-managed Aviva portfolio in London. This role involves working across a varied commercial property portfolio to deliver planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and operate efficiently. You will carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities, diagnose faults, and repair electrical and mechanical building services systems. Key responsibilities include maintaining and servicing HVAC systems, pumps and motors, lighting systems, electrical distribution systems, water systems and associated plant. You will respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs, complete work reports accurately using CAFM/mobile systems, and build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders. Experience
Proven experience within a Facilities Management, Building Services or Maintenance environment. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across building services systems. Experience carrying out both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. Good understanding of commercial building services. Experience working within prestigious corporate or commercial environments is desirable.

Qualifications
Applicants must hold qualifications in either an electrical or mechanical discipline:
- Electrical Engineers: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation, Electrical Maintenance or related discipline. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671). Inspection & Testing (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent) desirable.
- Mechanical Engineers: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline. HVAC qualification, certification or demonstrable HVAC maintenance experience.
Desirable qualifications include City & Guilds certifications. Knowledge of BMS systems and statutory compliance requirements is advantageous.
