About the Role
Wates Property Services (WPS) is seeking an experienced Night Shift Electrical Engineer to join our Facilities Management team at the prestigious Warner Bros. Discovery site. You will be part of a dedicated engineering team responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of building services and electrical systems across the site. This critical role involves delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance support during night operations to maintain a safe and productive environment for our client. Key responsibilities include carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, diagnosing and repairing faults, completing PPM tasks according to schedules and compliance requirements, conducting inspections and testing, ensuring all work complies with statutory regulations and company procedures, maintaining accurate maintenance records via CAFM systems, supporting emergency response activities, liaising with colleagues, subcontractors and client representatives, and promoting a strong health, safety, and compliance culture at all times.

Experience
- Proven experience within Facilities Management, commercial building services, or a similar maintenance environment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, lighting, power, emergency lighting, and associated plant
- Experience working within critical or large-scale commercial environments is desirable
- Multi-skilled capability with a basic understanding of mechanical services is advantageous

- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions during out-of-hours operations
- Good IT skills and experience using maintenance management systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) at offer stage

Qualifications
- Recognised Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent)
