About the Role
As an expert practitioner within Gender Identity Care, you will demonstrate advanced communication and nursing skills, applying expert knowledge and decision-making throughout assessment and follow-up care. You will provide visible clinical leadership and develop support mechanisms to share good practice across the service. Flexibility is essential as you will provide cover across clinical areas within your competence. Working both strategically and operationally within the Directorate team, you will ensure clinical policies, procedures, guidelines, and educational programmes meet the Directorate’s needs. You will act as a resource, offering accurate information, advice, and support in education and innovation. Additionally, you will uphold the Trust’s safeguarding policies and procedures, enabling others to raise concerns and collaborating closely with the safeguarding team.
Experience
Proven experience as a nurse practitioner, ideally within Gender Identity Care or a related clinical field, demonstrating advanced clinical skills and decision-making.

Qualifications
Registered Nurse with relevant advanced practice qualifications. Evidence of ongoing professional development and specialist training in Gender Identity Care or equivalent clinical expertise.
