About the Role
Welcome to the heart of Kido, where passion, ambition and people are at the core of everything we do! As the Nursery Housekeeper, you will be an ambassador for our values and a gatekeeper for our vibrant culture. You will take ownership for making the nursery look beautiful and ensure it is always ready for inspection from environmental health. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitising all equipment, tidying away clutter, keeping floors clear, and promoting excellent hygiene practices to maintain outstanding levels of cleanliness. You will adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures at all times and comply with EHO and COSHH regulations. Promoting a culture of safety, wellbeing, and protection for all children through safe working practices is essential. You will also support your team with other duties as needed to foster a supportive and inclusive culture. Effective communication is key to ensure all stock is ordered and organised timely. Working within Kido Schools Safeguarding policy, you will escalate any concerns appropriately.

No specific experience required; however, a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety is essential.

About you
Enthusiastic and motivated individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a positive environment. You should be reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of hygiene and safety practices is important, along with the ability to follow safeguarding policies diligently.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to the wellbeing and safety of children and staff are paramount.
