About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join Brent Council as a Nursery Practitioner. Brent is a vibrant London borough known for its cultural diversity and dynamic community. The council is undergoing a transformation to better meet the needs of its residents, making this an exciting time to join the team.

Willow Family Wellbeing Centre Nursery provides year-round education and care for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The nursery caters for fee-paying children, those eligible for free 15 or 30 hour entitlements, and children with special educational needs and disabilities or those working with social care.

The post involves working with a key group of children in one of four rooms: the 0–2 year old room, the 2–3 year old room, the pre-school room, or the Sunshine room, which is dedicated to children with a diagnosis of Autism. Initially, the role will be based in the Sunshine Room, supporting 12 children alongside a highly trained and motivated staff team.

You will be a keyperson, using observation and planning to provide high quality learning opportunities for all children. The role requires close collaboration with a multi-professional team including speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social care, children centre, and Family Solutions teams.

Experience
Experience working with young children in an inclusive environment is essential. Experience supporting children with a range of additional needs is highly desirable.
