About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join Brent Council as a Nursery Practitioner within the vibrant and diverse borough of Brent, home to the iconic Wembley Stadium. The council is undergoing a significant transformation to better serve its community, making this a great time to join us.

You will work at the Willow Family Wellbeing Centre Nursery, which provides year-round education and care for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The nursery accommodates fee-paying children, those eligible for free 15 or 30 hour entitlements, and children with special educational needs and disabilities or those supported by social care.

The post involves being a keyperson for a group of children in one of four nursery rooms: 0–2 year old, 2–3 year old, pre-school, or the Sunshine Room. Initially, you will be based in the Sunshine Room, which supports children diagnosed with Autism. You will work with 12 children supported by a highly trained and motivated team.

Your responsibilities include using observation to plan and deliver high quality learning opportunities for all children. You will be an effective team member working closely with a multi-professional team including speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social care, children centre, and Family Solutions teams.

Experience
Experience working with young children in an inclusive setting is essential, particularly supporting children with a range of additional needs.
