About the Role
We are recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Information Contact and Assessment Service at Lambeth Council. This is an exciting time to join as occupational therapy is undergoing transformative change to support the integration of health and social care and meet the ambitious goals of our borough plan.
The role focuses on promoting and maintaining independence for vulnerable and disabled service users, with an emphasis on assessing and providing equipment and adaptations. You will assess the functional needs of service users and their carers in line with relevant legislation and departmental policy, and make recommendations for simple major adaptations such as level access showers and stairlifts.
