About the Role

As an OD & Inclusion Consultant, you will be part of a small, high-impact team within HR and Organisational Development, led by a Strategic OD and Inclusion Consultant. Your role will be to shape Lambeth’s culture, leadership, and ways of working now and into the future.

You will partner with leaders to diagnose organisational issues and deliver practical organisational development solutions. You will design and lead interventions that improve leadership, culture, and performance, while driving inclusion by embedding equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) into day-to-day workforce practices. Supporting major change programmes across the council, you will use insight and data to shape decisions and track impact. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you will lead initiatives, not just advise.

Lambeth is a borough rich in diversity, home to over 317,600 residents with more than 130 languages spoken, including the Windrush generation, London’s largest LGBTQ+ community, and a thriving Portuguese-speaking community. The borough offers exceptional schools, green spaces like Brockwell Park, cultural landmarks such as the Black Cultural Archives, and world-renowned institutions including St Thomas's Hospital.

Working within the HR and Organisational Development team, you will contribute to an integrated people service that supports the council to perform at its best, manage and navigate change, and build a fair, inclusive, and sustainable workforce.

Experience
Strong organisational development and/or HR experience within a complex organisation, with proven success in delivering practical workforce, culture, or inclusion improvements.
Experience working confidently with senior leaders and stakeholders to influence change, shape solutions, and support delivery.
Ability to diagnose organisational issues, design effective OD interventions, and follow through to measurable outcomes.
