About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team responsible for providing an efficient and proactive parking enforcement service. The post holder will ensure robust procedures and processes are in place to support and direct the team’s work. You will work collaboratively with external parking enforcement contractors and CCTV providers, as well as internally across the council, to ensure parking enforcement activities are carried out professionally and proficiently.
Main duties include resourcing and managing team performance, allocating and monitoring workloads, managing and monitoring the Parking Enforcement Contract to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions, overseeing all administrative and HR functions within the team, and researching, collating, and providing information for reports to Council committees, management, and other bodies as required. You will also be expected to use initiative and proactively explore new and innovative ways of working.
Experience
Proven experience in managing teams and contracts, preferably within parking enforcement or a related public service environment.

Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Proactive, innovative, and able to use initiative to improve service delivery.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in enforcement, contract management, or public service management would be advantageous but are not explicitly required.
