About the Role
Please note that this is a fixed-term opportunity for up to 12 months. Joining Sainsbury's as a Partnerships Executive means being part of a dedicated team committed to making a positive impact on communities and tackling food poverty. You will work closely with key partners such as Comic Relief, developing impactful social campaigns and fostering strong relationships to drive meaningful change. Leveraging your skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking, you will play a vital role in delivering successful partnerships that benefit both customers and colleagues, while contributing to Sainsbury's mission of providing Good Food for All of Us.
As a Partnerships Executive, you will support the Senior Community and Partnerships Manager in developing and executing impact campaigns with Comic Relief and other strategic partners to address food poverty within communities. Your responsibilities include overseeing partner relationships, driving fundraising efforts across various channels, coordinating activation plans and campaigns, ensuring accurate donation processing, and fostering internal and external relationships to deliver on commitments and generate positive social impact. Additionally, you will manage the Partnerships budget, anticipate risks, and act as an ambassador for the food poverty community programme and partnership with Comic Relief across the organisation, driving awareness and alignment.

Experience
Current demonstrable experience working within the retail sector, with a strong understanding of customer needs and how to deliver social activity that resonates with customers and communities. Experience working alongside charity partners to develop and deliver social impact activities or campaigns. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace.
