Fixed Term 12 months – 35 hours per week, Agile Worker with 20% - 40% of contractual hours worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)
Salary
£32,000 to £34,500 per annum (London weighted salary) or £28,000 to £30,482 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience
About the Role
Join the Payroll Team at L&Q and play a key role in turning complex data into happy employees every month. We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to take ownership of the Starters and Leavers process within two payrolls. You will also be responsible for running the Auto-Enrolment Pension on a monthly basis for the L&Q Payroll and managing the associated administration. This role is to cover maternity leave and you will work as part of a team of 10, reporting to the Senior Payroll Administrator. Your main duties will include processing starters and leavers, pension processing, maintaining monthly spreadsheets, and performing reconciliations. You will collaborate closely with the Finance department, HR, and Scheduling Team to meet monthly targets and deadlines, ensuring all payroll processes are completed accurately and on time.

Experience
Proven experience working within payroll administration, with good knowledge and understanding of statutory legislation related to starters and leavers processes and Auto-Enrolment pension schemes. Experience working to tight deadlines in a high-volume payroll environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
About you
Detail-oriented with a strong eye for accuracy and confidence to challenge data discrepancies. Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team and with other departments. Proficient in multiple software systems including the itrent Payroll system. Strong MS Excel and Word skills, including mail merge and VLOOKUP.
Qualifications
