About the Role
The Enfield Pension Team is recruiting a Pensions Officer to provide day-to-day administrative support in accordance with the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) Regulations. This is an exciting opportunity to start or progress a career in pensions within a modern and rapidly progressing council. The role involves dealing with member enquiries, calculating retirement benefits including redundancy, flexible retirement, and ill health, as well as refunds of pension contributions, deferred leavers, and retirement estimates. You will respond to and resolve member queries in a clear, sensitive, and timely manner, support both the Administration and Systems teams, and ensure continual professional development by keeping up to date with regulation changes. Experience
Experience in the pension field is desirable but not essential. A strong financial understanding and excellent mathematical skills are required.
