About the Role
Neg Earth Lights Ltd, a family-owned lighting and rigging equipment supplier for the entertainment industry, is seeking a motivated and professional People & Culture Advisor with employee relations experience. Founded in 1983 and based in state-of-the-art facilities in Park Royal, London, Neg Earth is committed to a sustainable live events and touring industry, fostering creativity, innovation, and a strong sense of team belonging.

This generalist HR position balances operational HR delivery with culture, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will be an integral part of the People & Culture team, supporting all departments and performing a wide range of HR tasks including project management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and employee relations.

The role requires building strong professional relationships, proactively coaching managers, and being a visible, approachable People & Culture representative within a fast-paced and creative environment. You will contribute to HR and L&D initiatives, support employee engagement and wellbeing programs, and champion company values and positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities include managing employee lifecycle events, improving HR processes and policies, supporting payroll administration, assisting with DEIBA initiatives, leading employee relations cases, maintaining HR systems, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and delivering training sessions. You will also support performance management, career development, and talent conversations, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant HR practices throughout.

Experience
- Experience in a generalist HR Advisor or equivalent role
- Strong employee relations experience
- Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle
- Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience working in a hands-on SME environment is desirable
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Experience with HRIS system implementation and people analytics is advantageous
- Experience in manufacturing/warehouse or entertainment/live events industry is desirable
- Experience working for a family-run business is a benefit
