About the Role
As a Performance Analyst at Notting Hill Genesis, you will play a key role in supporting the Legal Services team by delivering high-quality, data-driven insights that improve performance, manage risk, and strengthen decision-making across the organisation. Working within the Governance and Risk Directorate, you will analyse performance trends, interpret complex datasets, and present clear insights that drive continuous improvement across the Legal Services function. Your work will support monitoring of legal spend, operational performance, and key business risks while helping teams understand and act on performance data.

You will collaborate with colleagues at all levels, using your analytical expertise and strong communication skills to translate data into meaningful recommendations that influence strategy, operational delivery, and organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Deliver insightful reporting and dashboards that provide clear analysis of team performance, legal spend, and operational risk.
- Develop and implement performance monitoring frameworks, working with managers to ensure the right indicators and measures are in place.
- Prepare and present performance reports to a range of audiences, ensuring complex data is communicated clearly and effectively.
- Use analytical tools and data visualisation platforms such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL to interrogate and present large datasets.
- Support performance improvement initiatives by providing modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Work closely with senior managers to analyse key business areas such as legal spend, disrepair, housing management issues, and associated risks.
- Benchmark performance externally and use research and analysis to identify opportunities for improved ways of working.
- Maintain and manage performance datasets, ensuring accuracy, quality assurance, and consistency across reporting.
- Support organisational projects requiring performance and data analysis, including implementation of the Legal Case Management System and ensuring accurate data migration.
- Collaborate across teams to improve processes, increase efficiency, and embed data-led decision making.

Requirements

Experience
- Demonstrable experience analysing complex datasets and producing actionable insights.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills including modelling, forecasting, and trend analysis.
- Proven experience in performance monitoring, benchmarking, and target setting.
- Advanced Excel skills including formulas, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
- Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience interrogating large datasets.
- Experience in data quality assurance, validation, and cleansing techniques.
- Strong ability to present complex statistical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications
Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
