About the Role
We are recruiting for a PFI Asset Manager to join our School Building and Development Service. If you are passionate about supporting children and families, committed to achieving positive outcomes, and bring experience of asset management, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will be responsible for the supervision and management of all surveying and PFI expiry capital work actions, ensuring that the service is provided in line with PFI expiry targets and priorities. You will coordinate all aspects of building fabric capital programme projects through our PFI provider for project schools, oversee work proposals, liaise with PFI contractors to agree work programmes through to practical completion, and ensure projects are delivered within approved timescales and to the expected standard. You will also be responsible for reporting delays to capital works and identifying operational and financial risks to the Children’s Services (PFI) Team.
You will liaise with PFI Team members and contractors to ensure that school assets are effectively and efficiently maintained, repaired, adapted, or replaced in accordance with client requirements, statutory compliance, and best practice. Maintaining existing partnerships with the Council’s PFI Contractor to ensure positive relationships with key stakeholders while working with client leads across the Council is also a key part of this role.
