About the Role
As the Policing & Security Strategy Manager, you will lead and ensure delivery on all aspects relating to policing and security within the Rail Delivery Group (RDG). You will engage with members of the industry, Department for Transport (DfT), British Transport Police (BTP), British Transport Police Authority (BTPA), and other external stakeholders. Your key responsibility will be to successfully deliver the Policing & Security Strategy and Programme along with its Implementation Plans, supported by a robust project and programme management framework. Additionally, you will advise on transition arrangements for policing and security within Great British Railways (GBR).

Experience
- Proven track record in managing policing, security, and emergency planning.
- Delivery of programmes and projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Policing, security, and emergency management understanding within a rail context or a comparable industry.
- Strong project and programme management skills and familiarity with associated methodologies.
- Experience producing high-quality change management tools and successfully delivering change initiatives.

- Understanding of both physiological and psychological impacts of change on wellbeing and resilience, with techniques to respond appropriately.

Qualifications
Relevant industry experience is desirable but not mandatory.
