About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Porter to join our healthcare team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a category B prison located in West London with a capacity of around 1,200 inmates. This is a physically demanding role that involves a significant amount of walking around the prison and heavy lifting. You will play a vital part in supporting the smooth operation of the facility and contributing to the safety and wellbeing of all individuals within the prison environment.

We provide a bespoke induction including our Introducing Health in Justice training course, a competency framework, and access to regional and national career development opportunities. Our bespoke Learning Management System will support your ongoing learning needs, and you will receive support from the wider team throughout your employment.

Experience
No specific experience required, however, the role is physically demanding and requires stamina and resilience.

About you
You must have the legal right to work in the UK. Due to the nature of the role, you will be subject to additional vetting and security checks. You should be physically fit to manage extensive walking and heavy lifting within a secure prison environment. A responsible and reliable attitude is essential.
