About the Role
The Premier League’s Digital team is seeking a Content Manager to lead the vision and operation of its new service, Premier League + (PL +). Reporting to the Head of Content and working closely with Product, Marketing, and Production leads, this role is key to delivering high-impact, audience-first content that drives engagement and growth for this new digital pillar.

This fixed-term contract (until 31 July 2028) supports the content evolution of the Premier League's first direct-to-consumer proposition. The successful candidate will lead the greenlight commissioning process, creating a cross-genre framework that aligns all content decisions with the overall PL + vision.

Responsibilities include devising and executing a release strategy, making expert content decisions, and communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders. The role balances macro and micro priorities, with direct responsibility for curating and directing PL + content throughout the Premier League season, managing a team of contributors to ensure best-in-class delivery.

The Premier League is a globally renowned football competition, available in over 1.2 billion homes across 189 countries. The organisation is committed to inclusivity and equal opportunities, fostering a culture where talent can flourish. The role offers a hybrid working model, combining office presence with remote work according to company policy.

Key duties include setting the editorial vision and strategy for PL +, managing contributors, ensuring premium content quality, identifying growth opportunities, harnessing audience insight, collaborating with digital marketing teams, performing quality assurance, and staying abreast of industry trends.

This role requires a proactive approach, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
