About the Role
Reimagine what it means to buy from Britain’s most trusted brands. At Argos, we’ve always been ahead of the curve—from the iconic catalogue to game-changing click-and-collect, shaping how the UK shops for decades. Today, our mission is bolder: to make every buying experience, whether at Argos, Tu or Habitat, not just seamless, but remarkable.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager for Argos Commercial, someone who excels in complex problem spaces, works brilliantly across multiple teams, and puts progress before perfection. This pivotal role involves leading and executing the strategic vision for Argos Commercial’s Stockless ecosystem, collaborating closely with engineers, architects, third-party software providers, and the broader product team.
You will be key to building product experiences and systems that support stockless models, integrating complex data models and taxonomies, surfacing new inventory, managing third-party fulfilment, and handling new complexities in order management and returns to keep the ecosystem working in harmony.
You’ll thrive here if you love complexity, have experience operating platforms at scale, are a systems thinker with customer empathy and sharp commercial instincts, and understand when to sweat the details and when to ship and learn. Experience with multi-channel fulfilment, stocked/stockless models, home delivery, and click and collect is a bonus.
Argos is more than a retailer; it’s a platform powering Argos, Tu, and Habitat. In this role, you’ll shape a shared commerce backbone used by millions, solving real customer problems, building for massive scale, and creating new capabilities that will define how our brands grow in the next decade.
You will work as part of a cross-functional team of Engineers, Architects, and Product Managers to support Argos Stockless ambitions, focusing on delivering data services that enable this. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders and third parties will be essential to shape feature development, optimise existing capabilities, and introduce new features to better meet customer needs. Data and insights will inform prioritisation, working closely with senior product leaders.
Responsibilities include maintaining a 90-day product roadmap, contributing to the prioritised and estimated fiscal year backlog, coordinating post-launch evaluation, collaborating with product teams and third parties to launch new features, championing customer and colleague needs through data-driven prioritisation, and monitoring industry trends to build shared insight.
Success in this role means bridging the gap between business and technical stakeholders, applying insight and research to focus on impactful outcomes, building collaborative relationships, and motivating diverse teams around the product roadmap with open and constructive conversations.

About you
- Strong customer empathy with the ability to translate business requirements into clear user stories and sprint goals.
- Technically curious and eager to learn from senior colleagues and the broader product community.
- Courageous and willing to experiment, understanding that failing forward is part of innovation.
- A people person who builds great relationships and contributes to a positive team culture.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications
- No specific qualifications required; a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
- Commitment to inclusive working practices and flexible working arrangements.
- Enthusiasm for continuous development and growth within a large, evolving tech team.
