About the Role
The Programme and Governance Officer will work within the Director’s Office providing dedicated support to both the Director of Collections and Research and the Secretary to the Board and Head of Governance. This role supports governance processes, executive activity, strategic priorities and day-to-day administration. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the Gallery and externally, the postholder will deliver high-quality coordination, administration and organisational support across a broad range of governance, research, collections, stakeholder and project-related activities.

Requirements

Experience
Experience in governance support, project coordination or executive administration is desirable. Proven ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and manage multiple priorities is essential.

About you
You will be organised, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are vital. You should be confident in managing complex schedules and supporting strategic priorities within a busy environment.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in administration, governance, project management or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
