About the Role
As a Project Manager in our Professional Services team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the transformation and onboarding of our software solutions at broadcasters around the world. You will be responsible for the successful deployment of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires managing effective communication with various client stakeholders at different levels and collaborating closely with the pre-sales team to ensure smooth project intake and with the Support department for seamless project handover. Balancing strategic oversight with detailed execution across multiple parallel projects, your focus will be on customer satisfaction, project profitability, and continuous service delivery improvement. Success in this role depends on your ability to organize and balance customer and stakeholder requests in a people-focused and positive manner. Key performance indicators will align with Global Services objectives including customer satisfaction, planning accuracy, reporting accuracy, and resource utilisation.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful planning, controlling, and execution of specific projects
- Organize and manage day-to-day activities of a project delivery team consisting of solution architects and/or system engineers, ensuring optimal resource allocation and project delivery
- Regularly review and evaluate project management best practices to achieve high-quality service delivery
- Ensure customer satisfaction, project profitability, and on-time, within-budget project delivery
- Support implementation of project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines, and standards
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, maintaining effective communication regarding project status and requirements
- Collaborate with various departments to assist in pre-sales activities, provide necessary project documentation, and ensure successful handover of projects to the Support department
Tasks and Duties
- Develop project plans and oversee their successful execution
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of project management practices and identify opportunities for improvement
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within allocated resources
- Implement project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines, and standards to enhance efficiency
- Actively participate in pre-sales activities, assisting the sales department with quotations, high-level project plans, and required documentation
- Facilitate the successful handover of projects to the Support department, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed and handed over
- Ensure the accuracy of time-reporting and other project-related administrative tasks
- Collect and share enhanced knowledge and customer feedback to support continuous improvement efforts within the organization
- Help build a Customer Success mindset across the organization through effective partnership working, advocacy, and professionalism as a member of the Global Services team
Reporting Line
Solid line to a Senior Project Manager or Project Delivery Manager
Supervision Received
The Project Manager will work as part of the project team and receive guidance and supervision from a Senior Project Manager or direct supervisor as applicable.
Experience
- Minimum of two years of project management experience including practical application of project planning tools
- Experience managing a project team
- Strong background with software technologies, with a B2B focus
- Some commercial responsibility such as budgetary, project, or P&L related experience

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP preferred)
- Fluency in German is required for this role
