About the Role
Enfield Legal Services are recruiting an entry-level Property Lawyer/ILEX/Licensed Conveyancer to undertake a varied caseload supporting regeneration projects, residential acquisitions/disposals, Right to Buy disposals, licences, leases, title work, and basic planning section 106 agreements/unilateral undertakings. This role is ideal for someone transitioning from a private law firm or charity sector to a career in local government, or for someone returning after a career break. You will join a friendly, committed, and highly regarded in-house legal team, delivering quality legal advice and contributing to the quality of life and sustainability of the borough. We seek a newly qualified solicitor, barrister, legal executive, licensed conveyancer, or equivalent with an interest and experience in property work. You will be a team player who is self-motivated and flexible, possessing exceptional communication skills. You will be supported to learn the practice area and manage your own caseload, working to tight timescales with the necessary support to succeed. A good understanding of conveyancing law and practice is required, along with strong drafting skills.
