The Proposals Manager role is part of the Business Development (BD) function, which is pivotal in delivering the Firm’s ambitious global strategy focused on client-centric growth. This role sits within the Global Proposals team aligned to the Project Development & Finance Global Product Group (GPG), supporting strategic, complex, and multi-jurisdictional proposals primarily in the European market.
As the Global Proposals lead for Project Development & Finance, you will manage the end-to-end proposal process, acting as the central point of contact on key opportunities. You will work closely with GPG partners, lawyers, and BD colleagues to develop compelling, client-centric proposals that increase win rates and revenue. The role offers strong partner and client exposure, global collaboration, and meaningful development opportunities.
Key responsibilities include managing complex proposals, coaching junior colleagues, drafting and editing pitch documents, advising on online submission portals, delivering proposal training, conducting win/loss debriefs, and championing best practices and marketing technologies across the Firm. You will also collaborate with various Business Professionals to drive the pitch process and support the continuous improvement of proposal standards and tools.
Experience
Extensive experience working on competitive proposals and pitches, ideally within the professional services market.
Proven ability to work across international, regional, and local contexts.
Experience working at a senior level within a partnership.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior management and lead teams effectively.
Demonstrated professionalism and discretion in all aspects of work.
