About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Radiotherapy/Proton Beam Therapy Quality Assurance Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Radiotherapy/PBT Quality Manager. You will play a key role in maintaining the ISO 9001:2015 Quality System, conducting internal quality system audits, clinical audits, and service evaluations. This role supports the department during inspections, external audits, and accreditation processes. You will contribute to the Cancer Division Audit Programme by undertaking audits and assisting the designated clinical audit lead in delivering this programme.

You will also support the Macmillan Information & Support Radiographers in developing and producing departmental patient information leaflets and booklets. The role involves data entry onto clinical systems including the planning database, ARIA, and Epic, as well as running reports from these systems. You will monitor Key Performance Indicators by reviewing performance data, trends, and processes, applying statistical analysis and judgement to identify opportunities for development and improvement.

Additional responsibilities include tracking and monitoring compliance against relevant national targets and preparing quality reports for presentation at Trust meetings, radiotherapy network meetings, NHSE level meetings, and meetings with the PBT private provider. Requirements

Experience
Experience in quality assurance, audit, or administrative roles within a healthcare or clinical environment is desirable. Familiarity with clinical systems such as ARIA and Epic is advantageous.

You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently to support quality and audit processes. You have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative teams. A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance is essential.

Qualifications
Relevant administrative or healthcare qualifications are beneficial but not essential. A willingness to learn and develop within the role is important.
