About the Role
As a Nutrition Education Leader, you will plan and deliver engaging, practical, and age-appropriate nutrition sessions as part of the Ready Steady Go! programme. You will support children and their parent carers to build confidence, make healthier food choices, and adopt sustainable lifestyle changes. Alongside session delivery, you will contribute to monitoring attendance, supporting referrals, and work closely with the programme team to ensure smooth and effective delivery.

Experience
- Relevant experience delivering nutrition education or behaviour change programmes in community or health settings.
- Ability to engage and motivate families, particularly those above a healthy weight, to make sustainable behaviour changes.
- Strong organisational skills to plan, prepare, and deliver structured nutrition sessions with clear educational resources.

- Commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of children, young people, and families through accessible, culturally appropriate nutrition support.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain nutrition concepts in a simple, engaging, and practical way.
- Understanding of safeguarding, equality, and diversity principles and ability to apply these when working with families.
Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in nutrition, dietetics, or a closely related field (minimum Level 4 or equivalent).
