As a Recall Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the organisation’s Vision, Mission, and Values by efficiently managing a variety of administrative duties related to patient recalls. This role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a high level of confidentiality due to access to sensitive patient information.
Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the recall of patients with chronic diseases, managing safeguarding administration, running clinical reports and searches, supporting achievement of QOF, NIS, Prescribing and IIF DES targets, and liaising with clinical and prescribing teams to ensure timely patient recalls and accurate data management. You will also maintain up-to-date knowledge of current policies, provide cover during team absences, and demonstrate flexibility to work across different sites as required.
This role demands a proactive approach to data quality, audit support, and continuous personal development through appraisal and supervision. You will contribute to the efficient running of the practice computer systems and help maintain high standards of confidentiality, health and safety, equality, and quality within the practice.
Experience
Experience in administrative roles within healthcare or similar settings is desirable but not essential. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality is crucial.
About you
You should be an effective and efficient communicator with excellent organisational skills. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude towards change. A commitment to equality, diversity, and patient-centred care is essential. You should be proactive in managing your workload and contributing to team effectiveness.
