About the Role
Are you a highly skilled Refrigeration Engineer looking to showcase your technical ability, diagnose and repair ongoing issues, achieve a high first fix rate, and identify and resolve persistent problems? Arcus FM is seeking a Refrigeration Specialist to provide technical expertise, deliver excellent customer service, and work towards challenging targets aimed at reducing call volumes.
This brand-new role focuses on maximizing efficiency within our refrigeration delivery. You will interrogate refrigeration systems using software technology, monitor and acknowledge repeat issues and sites, then assess, design, and implement strategies to mitigate risk, minimize further issues, and contribute to a safer, more productive, and successful delivery model.
In addition to supporting our Air Conditioning and MER PPM teams, you will help align strategies across departments, fostering greater synergy with the Refrigeration team. You will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise while mentoring and developing others.

Experience
- Significant experience in the retail or industrial refrigeration sector
- Proven ability to achieve first fix or implement temporary measures to maximize equipment uptime
- Strong commercial awareness resulting in fewer repeat failures
- Exceptional written reporting skills suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Exceptional IT skills, including programming CO2 controls
- Ability to work unsupervised and coordinate with planning teams to design your working day
- An eye for detail when analyzing technical and work order data

Qualifications
- C&G Fgas 2079
- Full UK driving licence
- Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in refrigeration
- CO2 qualification or demonstrable experience in this area
- Familiarity with CO2 Pack systems such as Green & Cool, SCM, Advansor
- Hydrocarbon qualification - CARE (desirable)
