About the Role
Our multi-award-winning organisation is looking to recruit a Care Assistant to join our Care team. This isn’t just a job – it’s about building relationships, creating moments that matter, and helping people feel valued every single day. As a Care Assistant, you’ll support residents with daily living, from personal care to mealtimes and activities, always taking a person-centred approach. You’ll get to know each resident as an individual – what matters to them, what makes them smile – and tailor your support to help them live well. No two days are the same, but every day is meaningful.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily routines
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Encouraging independence, choice, and dignity
- Assisting with meals, activities, and wellbeing
- Working as part of a supportive team to deliver outstanding care
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Why this role matters:
For many of our residents, you’ll be the person who brightens their day, supports them through challenges, and helps them feel safe, respected, and valued. That’s a big responsibility but also an incredibly rewarding one.
Experience
No previous care experience is required, although it is advantageous.
About you
- Kind, patient, and compassionate
- A great listener with a positive attitude
- Reliable and a strong team player
- Comfortable supporting people with a range of needs
- Willing to learn and develop
