About the Role
Linklaters is a global law firm operating in 20 countries through 30 offices, recognised for its commitment to diversity and inclusion. We are seeking an experienced Paralegal/Support Lawyer to join our Structured Finance Group. The successful candidate will support a broad range of structured finance and leveraged finance transactions, working closely with lawyers, clients, financial institutions and external advisers to deliver transactions efficiently and within tight deadlines. This role suits someone with prior transactional banking experience, ideally within a leading international law firm, who thrives in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment. Many transactions are time-sensitive and involve managing multiple competing priorities, making this an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys seeing matters through from inception to closing. Flexibility to work outside standard UK business hours is important due to the international nature of the practice, including regular collaboration with colleagues and clients across Asia-Pacific time zones.

Key Responsibilities
- Support execution of structured finance and leveraged finance transactions from signing through to closing
- Assist with preparation, review and management of transaction documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Coordinate transaction processes and manage critical workstreams across multiple stakeholders
- Prepare and maintain transaction checklists, conditions precedent trackers, closing agendas and execution documents
- Manage signing and closing processes, ensuring correct execution of documentation and meeting transaction milestones
- Liaise with clients, lenders, borrowers, trustees, financial institutions and external advisers to facilitate smooth transaction progression
- Monitor transaction timetables and proactively identify and escalate issues impacting deadlines
- Manage post-completion requirements, filing obligations and maintenance of transaction records
- Provide regular transaction status updates to lawyers and stakeholders

Requirements

Experience
- Experience supporting complex financing transactions including structured finance, leveraged finance, banking or other debt-related transactions
- Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, legal documentation and deal execution processes
- Comfortable managing multiple live transactions simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

About you
- Proactive and resilient with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication skills, experienced in liaising with lawyers, clients, financial institutions and external advisers
- Flexibility to work longer hours when required to meet transaction deadlines and support cross-border deal teams, including Asia-Pacific time zones
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and client service

Qualifications
- LPC, SQE, law degree or equivalent legal qualification (including foreign-qualified lawyers)
