About the Role
Linklaters, a global law firm operating in 20 countries through 30 offices, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a 6-month temporary assignment supporting a significant global People (HR) Transformation programme. Working within the Technology & Data team, you will play a key role in standardising HR processes across multiple countries and supporting the transition to a centralised service model. This high-profile transformation initiative involves partnering with HR and business stakeholders to analyse current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable deliverables. Key responsibilities include gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements across the full project lifecycle; facilitating workshops with stakeholders across multiple locations and functions; creating process maps and identifying opportunities for standardisation and efficiency; translating workshop outputs into solution-ready requirements to support system configuration and future technology selection; supporting testing activities including acceptance criteria definition and UAT; managing stakeholder engagement and driving alignment on key decisions and outcomes; and contributing to the design of scalable, globally consistent HR service processes. Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience delivering business analysis within HR Services, HR Operations or HR Transformation programmes
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and business process improvement capability
- Experience translating business processes into system requirements, ideally relating to HR case management or workflow-driven platforms
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and engage effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple countries
- Experience supporting RFP, vendor selection or technology evaluation activities
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies across Agile and Waterfall environments
- Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Visio, Mural and other standard BA toolsets

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams
- Structured, detail-oriented approach with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguity and drive outputs through to completion
