You will work collaboratively with global BDM colleagues and lawyers to contribute to client-focused initiatives aligned with the firm’s Client, Sector, and strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include supporting the development and delivery of BD plans, collaborating with global teams to align UK priorities with global strategies, building strong relationships across BDM functions, facilitating cross-selling opportunities, contributing to go-to-market campaigns and pitches, using data and market intelligence for opportunity identification, and supporting the effective use of MarTech and data infrastructure to deliver targeted BD activity.
Experience
Proven experience in business development, ideally within Energy & Infrastructure in a legal or professional services environment. Strong understanding of the Energy & Infrastructure sectors, including key transaction types, market dynamics, and emerging trends. Experience supporting BD strategy development and implementation, including client targeting, cross-selling, and growth initiatives. Demonstrated ability to contribute to high-quality pitches and client proposals. Familiarity with marketing technology and data tools.
About you
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market intelligence and data to identify commercial opportunities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders across global teams and functions. A proactive, collaborative, and strategic mindset aligned with the firm’s values and culture.
Qualifications
While specific qualifications are not detailed, a background relevant to business development in professional services and a strong understanding of the Energy & Infrastructure sector are essential.
