We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery, working on a large new build construction site alongside experienced tradespeople. Key Requirements: * Must reside in the London Borough of Barnet * Aged 18 or over (no upper age limit) * Working towards or already completed a Level 2 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery * GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English * CSCS card holder * A good reference from a college tutor Skills and Qualities: * Strong work ethic and punctuality * Good communication skills * Ability to work well with others from various backgrounds * Attention to detail and dexterity * Solid literacy and numeracy skills Role Description:
You will be gaining hands-on experience while working under the supervision of skilled tradespeople and the site management team. This role involves physical work in all weather conditions, sometimes at height. As part of the apprenticeship, you will also receive free tools and PPE. You will assist in and learn all aspects of carpentry and joinery as part of the new build construction process, helping to complete the work-based element of your qualification. Future Prospects:
On successful completion, you may have the opportunity to secure employment as an improver with the contractor, provided you demonstrate strong progress and the necessary skills.
