About the Borough
The London Borough of Sutton is situated less than 30 minutes by train from Central London, with direct connections to London Victoria and London Bridge. Located in zone 5 with excellent transport links, Sutton boasts award-winning parks and open spaces, low crime rates, affordable housing, and great schools. The borough is known for high levels of resident engagement and satisfaction, delivering quality services while addressing financial challenges and involving residents in key community issues and high street developments.

About the Role
London Borough of Sutton is offering an exciting opportunity to play a lead role in the expansion and development of Willow Rise Children’s Home. We are committed to providing the best for our children by developing in-house residential services that meet their needs. Following significant Council investment, our new Residential Strategy aims to bring children closer to their families and communities, living in high-quality provision designed around them. You will join a well-established team with a proven track record of success, supported by hands-on managers, excellent training opportunities, and an integrated youth services support network. This role is demanding yet deeply rewarding, perfect for dedicated professionals committed to delivering exceptional standards of children’s residential care and supporting some of our most vulnerable young people.

About the Service and Team
The Council is a driving force within the South London Partnership, focusing on strategic growth, regeneration, and investment across five outer south west London boroughs. Sutton is continuously investing in the health, wellbeing, and education of its residents and future generations, as outlined in the “Ambitious for Sutton” corporate plan. Sutton is home to the Royal Marsden Hospital and the Institute of Cancer Research, and with the development of the London Cancer Hub, it aims to be the world’s leading life-science district specializing in cancer research and treatment. This vision will create around 13,000 jobs and contribute £1.2bn annually to the UK economy. Sutton is passionate about working closely with residents and vulnerable groups to help maintain independence and balance support with independent living.
