About the Role
You’ll be at the core of Screwfix, making sure our customers are the heart of everything we do. You’ll take your time to really get to know them whilst delivering genuinely great service. Our Retail Assistants are vital to the running of a store, so you’ll always be kept busy. With the help of our excellent training programmes and varied shift patterns to support a healthy work-life balance, you’ll be on the right track for a promising career with us!

Key responsibilities include:
- Hosting customers by welcoming them into the store, understanding their needs, guiding them to the right products, and making their experience easy and enjoyable
- Assisting with warehouse standards by helping with deliveries, maintaining product stock, collecting customer orders, and keeping store standards high
- Being part of a team that takes pride in their store, works together, and has fun along the way

Experience
Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.

Friendly and approachable with a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service. You enjoy working in a busy environment and are a reliable team player who takes pride in their work.
