Majestic Wine in West London are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and driven individual who wants to grow and develop in a company that's revolutionising retail! Majestic is the UK’s largest specialist wine retailer, operating over 200 stores nationwide. Founded in 1980, the company has recently undergone an ambitious transformation with record market share growth, a new product range, a new website, and six new stores with plans for further expansion over the next five years. The Majestic range includes over 1,100 different wines, spirits and beers both online and in-store, supported by over 1,000 WSET-trained colleagues offering knowledgeable, friendly service.

As a Majestic Trainee Manager, you will embark on a 12-month development programme providing detailed understanding and experience of all operational, service, and leadership standards required to become a future Majestic Store Manager. You will work through the career pathway training programme with the support of your Store Manager, setting you up for future success.

Key responsibilities include driving store performance by maximising sales opportunities, optimising KPI performance, delivering exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases, and offering a VIP concierge service to customers. You will sell the story, not the discount, sharing your passion and knowledge of the product range, managing tasting events, and maintaining an enticing tasting counter. You will take ownership of your wine knowledge, supporting your WSET qualification progress, and be accountable for the store’s physical appearance and maintenance.

Operational involvement includes delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock, calling valued customers to drive sales, identifying improvements to optimise store operations, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and mandatory training. You will take ownership of your own development and be a role model for Majestic’s Ways of Working, supporting junior team members and providing feedback to your Store Manager.

Experience
- Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service

- Passionate about learning more about wine to support passing Level 2 & 3 WSET wine qualifications
- Hold a full UK manual driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points
