About the Role
As a Safety Intervention Trainer, you will support the Matron for Restrictive Practice & SI training and the Lead SI Trainer in developing and implementing a Trust-wide training strategy on Safety Intervention (SI) aligned with national policies and standards. You will act as a professional and positive role model while working collaboratively with other trainers, course delegates, and multidisciplinary teams in accordance with Trust Policies and BILD Restraint Reduction Training Standards. Your responsibilities will include supporting a comprehensive programme of SI courses to meet the Trust’s Risk Management and Training Needs Analysis requirements, assisting in the development of joint training initiatives with external organisations when required, maintaining an up-to-date database of staff attendance on statutory courses, and contributing to the launch, promotion, and implementation of the Trust policy on the management of violence and aggression.

Experience
Experience in delivering training related to safety interventions, restrictive practice, or violence and aggression management is desirable. Previous involvement in healthcare or similar settings is advantageous.

Qualifications
