About the Role
As a Sales Advisor at Samsonite, you will offer Lipault customers exceptional service by projecting a positive image of the Company at all times to maximise sales. You will assist in maintaining a tidy and well-presented store, upholding high standards in all areas.
Your responsibilities will include providing professional advice and demonstrations of Lipault products to ensure a friendly shopping experience, introducing selling benefits and product features, and maximising sales through detailed product knowledge and add-on sales. You will be knowledgeable about store layout, products, and stock availability, handling customer interactions cheerfully and efficiently while addressing complaints and phone queries tactfully in line with Company Policy.
You will process transactions professionally, maintain awareness of after sales service, supplier warranties, sales promotions, incentives, and product brochures. Monitoring sales figures, targets, and commissions on a daily, weekly, and periodic basis will also be part of your role.
Additional duties include processing deliveries and managing stock discrepancies, keeping stockrooms orderly, assisting with merchandising and internal displays, reading and actioning Head Office communications, and supporting stock counts as directed by the Store Manager.
Security vigilance is essential to ensure adherence to Company Procedures regarding stock and monies. You will maintain high housekeeping standards within the branch, ensuring daily cleaning and care of fixtures, fittings, and stock.
Operational and administrative duties include handling telephone enquiries politely and efficiently, communicating customer enquiries/orders to Head Office, opening and closing the store according to procedures, and carrying out stock and personnel administration as directed.
Attendance expectations include reporting 10 minutes before shift start, timely communication of absences or lateness directly to the Manager by telephone, making up any lost business time, attending training courses punctually, and adhering to company attendance policy.
Appearance must be well-groomed, neat, and tidy in line with Company Dress Policy. You will also be responsible for health and safety by reporting accidents or potential dangers and being knowledgeable of the Health and Safety Manual and fire safety procedures.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required and directed by Management.
Experience
Previous experience in retail is required. Ability to work under pressure and be target driven is essential.
About you
You are a team player and motivator with good brand sensibility and a good command of English. You must be flexible and able to stand constantly, bend frequently, and lift luggage up to 15 kilos.
Qualifications
Computer literacy is required. No formal qualifications specified but relevant retail experience and skills are necessary.
