About the Role
As part of the Retail Team, the Sales Associate is responsible for creating a client experience that reflects the ethos of the Samsonite brand while building and maintaining strong client relationships. You will drive sales through outstanding service in an exclusive retail environment. The ideal candidate is committed to client service and has a strong understanding of, or passion for, luxury, travel, fashion, and lifestyle markets. This role encourages an entrepreneurial spirit and offers growth opportunities as you increase sales, meet KPIs, build client awareness, provide world-class service, and help grow the brand.
Main tasks include introducing customers to the extensive TUMI product range and providing expert advice, delivering excellent customer service combined with sales skills and empathy for traveling customers. You will handle cash register operations conscientiously and ensure high-quality products are presented attractively according to guidelines. Additionally, you will support internal events and promotions enthusiastically.
Experience
Initial professional experience in retail is desirable, preferably within the premium sector. Previous retail experience and computer literacy (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel) are advantageous.
About you
You have a passion for selling premium products and enthusiasm for Samsonite’s range. You possess a pleasant and open sales personality, a well-groomed and professional appearance, and good command of English. Additional language skills are a plus. You are a team player, target driven, able to work under pressure, and motivated to contribute to the brand’s success.
Qualifications
Good communication skills and flexibility are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to stand constantly, bend frequently, and lift luggage up to 15 kilos. Knowledge of health and safety procedures and adherence to company policies are expected.
