About the Role
The MNVP Neonatal Lead plays a vital role in ensuring that women and birthing peoples' voices are heard and acted upon. This position brings service users and their families to the centre of maternity and neonatal service development and improvement. Supported by the South West London and Surrey Heartlands Local Maternity & Neonatal System (LMNS), the Neonatal Lead works closely with MNVP Maternity Leads for Epsom and St Helier, as well as maternity and neonatal management teams, to ensure that service user voices shape care through co-production methods and values. The role champions seldom listened-to voices and addresses inequalities across all work undertaken. While there is an expectation to attend regular Trust meetings, the role offers flexibility in working hours. Working with the MNVP provides an opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to improving care and engagement within the community.
