About the Role
At Argos, we’re building a Marketplace that gives customers more choice, better value and access to a constantly evolving range of products. A big part of that is bringing the right sellers onto our platform and setting them up for success from day one. This Seller Acquisition Lead role sits right at the centre of that. You’ll be responsible for finding, attracting and onboarding high-quality sellers who strengthen our categories and accelerate Marketplace growth. Your work will directly shape the partners we work with, the speed we scale and the overall success of the Marketplace. You’ll combine commercial thinking with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach. This is a role where you’ll build pipelines, engage sellers, and work cross-functionally to turn new opportunities into live, trading partnerships.
You’ll build and manage a strong pipeline of potential sellers, identifying partners who align to priority categories and can bring real value to the Marketplace. You’ll lead outreach activity, developing clear and compelling ways to engage sellers and explain the Argos Marketplace proposition. From first conversation through to go-live, you’ll manage the end-to-end seller journey, ensuring onboarding is smooth, efficient and delivers a strong first experience. You’ll work closely with teams across Commercial, Product and Operations to coordinate onboarding activity, remove blockers and keep sellers moving through the pipeline at pace.
You’ll track performance across key metrics including pipeline health, conversion rates and time to activation, using data to identify opportunities and continuously improve how we acquire and onboard sellers. You’ll play a key role in shaping and evolving the acquisition and onboarding approach, helping to simplify processes and improve the overall seller experience as we scale.
