About the Role

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering innovative business intelligence solutions that empower teams across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced BI professional to lead analytical projects, shape NHG's BI strategy, and help us unlock the full value of our data.

You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that enable effective decision-making and insight across NHG. Working independently and collaboratively, you'll lead the creation of data visualisations and analytical models using Power BI and Azure technologies. You'll also mentor others, helping to grow BI capability across the organisation while promoting best practices in analytics, data quality, and reporting.

Key responsibilities include developing complex BI solutions and dashboards, collaborating with data engineers and business users, ensuring BI systems are efficient and reliable, supporting colleagues through knowledge sharing, monitoring BI solution performance, troubleshooting issues proactively, championing data ethics and quality, and supporting the ongoing development of NHG's analytics roadmap.

Delivering high-quality BI insights that drive operational and strategic improvements, leading data visualisation projects, translating business needs into technical solutions, maintaining data quality standards, and mentoring team members are essential aspects of this role.

Experience
- Proven experience in developing BI solutions using Power BI and Azure.
- Strong data modelling, cleansing, and transformation experience.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and translating business requirements into BI products.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and best practices in documentation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor others.
- Awareness of ethics, privacy, and user experience principles in BI.

Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
