About the Role
This role involves a large workload in general (core) urology including TURBT, TURP, and inguinal-scrotal surgery. You will manage stone disease with procedures such as flexible ureteroscopy and laser stone treatment. The role also includes management of benign prostate disease with bipolar TURP, Rezum, and Urolift. You will work within an established urinary continence service offering intravesical Botox injection and PTNS, supported by dedicated specialist continence and urodynamic nurses. Additionally, you will contribute to improving bladder cancer diagnosis and treatment, including performing trans-rectal prostate biopsies across both UHL and QEH sites.
Experience
Experience in core urology procedures including TURBT, TURP, stone disease management, and benign prostate disease treatments is essential. Familiarity with continence services and bladder cancer diagnosis is highly desirable.

You should be a motivated and skilled urology clinician capable of managing a diverse and demanding caseload. You will work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate commitment to improving patient outcomes in urology.
Qualifications
Appropriate clinical qualifications and registrations relevant to a Senior Clinical Fellow in Urology are required.
