About the Role
The Adults and Public Health Directorate is seeking a Senior Day Services Officer to join the local management team. This role involves stabilising and influencing the team while acting as an effective role model of best practice. You will support, encourage, and assist in leading the Hub staff teams to perform at their best. The post holder will enable individuals to access excellent day service centre-based and community opportunities, including employment where possible, offering choice and empowering people to live as independently as possible. Responsibilities include supporting and assisting individuals with safe personal care and hygiene needs while respecting their privacy and dignity at all times. You will ensure that services are delivered in an anti-discriminatory manner, respecting protected characteristics and promoting equality throughout.
