About the Role
Are you a strategic digital leader with a creative mindset who can see the bigger picture while delivering meaningful, resident-focused experiences? We are seeking a Senior Digital Manager to lead the transformation of our resident-facing website and manage our Group site – our digital shop windows. You will bring energy and inspiration to create a best-in-class customer experience for our residents, building ways to connect with our communities online and creating a digital experience that meets our residents’ needs.

You will be driven by making the user experience easy and efficient and ensuring our content is more local, inclusive, and relevant. You will provide a seamless and consistent experience across all digital channels to build our residents’ trust.

This is a strategic role with a social purpose – ideal for a digital expert who combines artistic flair with technical skill and a deep understanding of user journeys.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the transformation of our websites’ UX and UI, focusing on resident experience and accessibility.
- Develop a strategic digital roadmap delivering better services for residents and communities, reflecting our purpose and values.
- Localise the resident website to reflect neighbourhood voices, making websites feel connected and relevant.
- Manage a small digital team (1 direct report, team of 2), fostering creativity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee SEO, performance analytics, and KPIs to drive engagement and demonstrate impact.
- Champion inclusive design ensuring websites reflect the diversity of residents.
- Advise stakeholders across the business with empathy and diplomacy, helping tell their service stories online.
- Stay ahead of digital trends and innovations to continuously enhance our offer.

- Deliver a transformed, accessible, and resident-focused website with improved user experience, navigation, engagement, and trust.
- Align website content with marketing and communications strategy, ensuring brand, tone, and purpose consistency across platforms.
- Drive SEO growth and report clearly on digital performance, ROI, and team development.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven strategic digital leadership with experience transforming websites and improving UX/UI focused on user needs.
- Skilled in designing inclusive, resident-focused digital journeys reflecting local communities.
- Experience managing small teams and delivering complex projects at pace.
- Comfortable using data and analytics to drive decisions and measure impact.
- Experience in housing or social purpose sectors is beneficial.

- Empathetic and diplomatic, able to engage stakeholders and balance diverse needs.
- Strong communicator and collaborator with excellent people and leadership skills.
