About the Role
UNIQLO, a leading brand of the Fast Retailing Group and one of the largest apparel retailers globally, is seeking a Senior European Payroll Specialist to join our European HR Payroll team based in London. Reporting to the European Payroll Manager, you will collaborate closely with local HR and Payroll teams as well as the wider European HR Department. This role focuses on maintaining accuracy, quality, and compliance across Payroll, Mobility, and Immigration functions. You will support EU markets by leading the end-to-end payroll process, working with Payroll Partners and HR Managers, and managing payroll for expats in coordination with tax advisors and mobility partners. Key responsibilities include executing payroll controls, validating payroll data, managing salary payments, taxes, social security, and payroll-related payments, producing month-end and quarterly payroll reports for Finance, resolving payroll issues, and leading governance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will provide strategic input on EU-level policies, systems, and tools and manage immigration processes for expats entering or leaving EU markets.

Experience
- 3 to 5 years payroll management experience in retail or high-volume environments (1000+ employees)
- Expertise in payroll operations across multiple European countries
- Strong knowledge of payroll, taxation principles, and expat regulations
- Experience working with expats, global mobility, and tax advisors
